Stories that more usually pierce in the memories of somebody are those that explore the deepest aspects of the human soul. "Claymore" is one of those. Peculiarly, it does by means of characters who are only half human. The wealth of emotional conflicts derived from its other half (of the same monstrous race that they must eradicate) shows us the sadness of their destiny and the tragedy in their essence.
At the moment I am seeing episode 24 of 26, and it gives the impression me that this series will have a memorable end. I save myself to give more details of the plot, because I consider how "spoilerific" can be to show any minimum detail of the story. And still without to have written corresponding review, I consider it like a highly recommendable series.
