Sorry, I'm just not ready for a relationship at the moment.
If I had a nickle for every time some one said that to me I would put all the coins in a sock and throw it at their head.
Do you ever wonder what COULD have happend if a relationship went through? If
perhaps the other person DID want a relationship and you DID hook up?
Do you ever get in that "talking" phase and as things dig deeper, the relationship
magically *poofs* and turns into a pile of turd?
Perhaps there is a reason for this madness (or magic?) Perhaps this sudden break
up before the hook up is to put the relationship on hold and say..
"Hey, let's wait till both of us have our shit together so we can have a better relationship later on."
Think of it as if you were planting a tree: Sure you may have the water and the seeds
but if the soil aint cookin then what's the use? Just slow down, hold on to your beans
and maybe in a few months or so you can grow your tree and taste the fruits of your
labor.
I believe that just because two people are ment to be together, doesn't mean they
will hook up the first time. Love doesn't work on your schedule.
So if you plan on making a pass on someone becuase they listen to different music
or they have different goals, wait; because you never know who you will bump
into later in life.
